1. About this service
SupportivePoint is a text-based companion support service. It provides human conversation and emotional presence via WhatsApp during set business hours. It is not therapy, counselling, medical care, or crisis support, and does not replace professional mental health services.
2. Who this service is for
SupportivePoint is for adults aged 18 and over who want calm, respectful conversation and connection. It is not appropriate for people experiencing a mental health crisis, thoughts of self-harm, or active emergencies. If you are in crisis, please contact Lifeline on 13 11 14 or call 000.
3. Subscription and payment
Access is billed at $199 AUD per month. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. Your subscription renews monthly until cancelled. All payments are non-refundable.
4. Cancellation
You may cancel at any time by contacting SupportivePoint via the website contact form or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided.
5. Service hours and response times
SupportivePoint listeners are available Monday to Friday, 8am–6pm AEST. Messages will be responded to within two hours during these hours. No support is available outside these hours.
6. Service limitations
SupportivePoint does not provide therapy, diagnosis, medical advice, legal advice, or crisis intervention. Listeners are not licensed mental health professionals. The service is not a substitute for professional care.
7. Communication platform
Conversations take place via WhatsApp. By using this service you acknowledge that messages are transmitted through WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. and subject to their own terms and privacy policy.
8. Appropriate use
You agree to communicate respectfully. SupportivePoint reserves the right to terminate access without refund if a user engages in abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behaviour.
9. Limitation of liability
SupportivePoint is not liable for any harm arising from use of or inability to use this service. You use this service at your own risk.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
11. Changes to these terms
SupportivePoint may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

4. Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe. SupportivePoint does not store your credit card details. Please refer to Stripe's privacy policy for information on how payment data is handled.
5. WhatsApp conversations
Support conversations take place via WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. SupportivePoint listeners handle your messages with confidentiality and respect, however you should be aware that WhatsApp's own data practices apply to messages sent through their platform.
6. Data retention
We retain your contact and subscription information for as long as necessary to manage your account and comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
